Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that works with the bodies own intelligence to restore function. Bones, joints, muscles, organs and connective tissues are manipulated with gentle hands-on techniques to release adhesions, restore motion and proper function.

The basic principle of osteopathy is that the body has the ability to heal itself, but that this process can be hindered when they body is contorted, compacted or out of alignment.

We use a variety of techniques, such as compression, massage, stretching, energy work and joint manipulation, to help restore the normal function of the body and reduce pain.

The philosophy of our school is to teach a wide variety of techniques, so that the osteopath has the tools to be flexible for each patients needs. This could mean one session is very physical and the next very soft, depending on you and what your body needs on that day.

Osteopaths believe that the body works as a whole and that imbalances in one part can affect other parts. For example, a problem in the back can lead to headaches, while poor posture can cause neck and shoulder pain. By working on the entire body, an osteopath aims to improve overall health and well-being.

Craniosacral therapy is a type of alternative therapy that aims to improve the functioning of the craniosacral system, which includes the bones, membranes, and fluid that protect and surround the brain and spinal cord.
By applying gentle manual pressure to the head, neck, and spine, we can help to release restrictions in the craniosacral system, promoting healing and reducing pain and stress.

As traditional osteopaths, our training is different to the average Craniosacral therapist. We focus more on bone manipulation of the cranium. This gives us an edge when supporting people with physical issues like clicking jaws, painful headaches and migraines, and issues caused by dental work. A therapist focussed on standard Craniosacral therapy may be better at supporting you with emotional processes.

One thing we can all agree on, is this is the most amazing tool for stress relief, relaxation and full body nourishment.

Kundalini bodywork is a holistic approach to wellness that aims to activate the energy known as "kundalini" located at the base of the spine, to bring balance and harmony to the mind, body, and spirit.
This energy is believed to be dormant in most individuals and can be awakened through various techniques, such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and specific body movements. The ultimate goal of Kundalini bodywork is to help people achieve a higher state of consciousness and spiritual connection.

This therapy is delivered by Shane Norton only and has now merged with his elements of shamanism and own intuitive techniques.

His experience is that it is incredible at releasing the emotional blocks that so often are the underlying cause of a physical issue. He's seen people achieve more in one session of Kundalini Bodywork than they have after being treated by leading Osteopathic teachers. BTW - We don't pretend to understand how it works, but it is very effective.
