Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that works with the bodies own intelligence to restore function.

 

Bones, joints, muscles, organs and connective tissues are manipulated with gentle hands-on techniques to release adhesions, restore motion and proper function.

Traditional Osteopathy

Traditional osteopathy was preserved in Canada through a direct lineage to the original US founders of the practice.

While taking on proven scientific methods, traditional osteopathy, maintains much of the magic lost as the practice was modified by other professions.

Traditional osteopathy requires the practitioner to develop an incredibly sense of touch and intuition.

 

The hands lead the diagnoses and treatment with the mind on hand to check, control and create structure around what the hands prescribe.

 

It creates an incredible form of treatment that many clients experience as magic.

What can we treat?

How should you prepare?

Clothing - The osteopathic evaluation is best undertaken in underwear. Therefore, please ensure that you wear underwear that you feel comfortable in (avoid sports bras).

Intention - think about what you'd like to gain from the session. This can be physical or emotional. Maybe you just want to relax, maybe you desire more energy, or maybe your hip hurts and you wish it didn't.
